    The Salesforce Developer will understand and proactively monitor all aspects of the Salesforce configuration and technical / functional capabilities, execute all configuration changes related to the Salesforce release upgrades, work with third-party integrations, and support business initiatives with optimized reporting and dashboards.


    A successful candidate will identify new and creative opportunities to leverage Salesforce.com and its database to support additional business processes or functions and will be motivated, team oriented and passionate about Salesforce technology.

    Responsibilities

    • Manages a process to deploy updates, enhancements, and new system functionality including the creation of custom objects, custom formulas, scalable triggers, and workflows
    • Provides the management team with activity dashboards as needed applications and the user interface using Salesforce.com programming languages
    • Extends third-party product and platform integrations and their dependencies on Salesforce.com
    • Prepare data files and uploads the data into Salesforce.com using the data loader and other 3rd party tools
    • Manages outsourced Salesforce.com implementation partners (consultants) as required
    • Defines, communicates, and manages a Change Management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications
    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce.com
    • Assists with management of security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues, sharing rules and other setup options
    • Provides technical support, training and backup for the Field Sales force as well as the Customer Service and Technical Support teams using Sales and Service Cloud
    • Shares best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of customer support and contributes to the knowledge base

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree preferred in the following field: Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce.com development encompassing the Software Development Lifescyle (SDLC)
    • Experience with Force.com development
    • Experience working with workflows and triggers to automate tasks
    • Ability to introduce new Salesforce elements, processes, procedures
    • Solid understanding of sales and marketing analytics, including reporting on territory and pipeline health, forecasting, campaign effectiveness, and data quality metrics in a multi-channel environment
    • Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (both Sales and Service Cloud) technical requirements, system configuration, user requirements and all related policies and procedures
    • Experience with custom reporting, modifying pages, views and dashboards
    • Experience working with the Salesforce Portal
    • Knowledge of databases and proficiency in data manipulation and cleaning
    • Experience working with and supporting Enterprise Software Sales and Presales Teams
    • Experience developing in other programming languages such as C#, VB, or Java preferred
