    The Salesforce Business Analyst is accountable for defining the user stories and functional requirements, driving the definition of configurations that need to be completed in Salesforce and help facilitate meetings and training.  This role also requires managing a Salesforce development team.

     

    A successful candidate will be detailed oriented with communication skills that facilitate being liaison between end users, management and Salesforce developers.

    Responsibilities

    • Assumes ownership of the Salesforce project roadmap coordinating regular meetings with management to determine goals, prioritize, and schedule regular releases using Agile methodolgies
    • Glean and document project requirements from end users and management then oversee project until completion
    • Define deliverables necessary to meet project requirements for the development team
    • Define use cases and coordinate testing between end users and development team
    • Document process maps and deliver training to end users and new hires
    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce.com
    • Manages outsourced Salesforce.com implementation partners (consultants) as required
    • Ensure development team follows a process to deploy updates, enhancements, and new system functionality using best practices
    • Set goals for and review Salesforce developers in accordance with the organization’s policies
    • Help coach, mentor, and backup Salesforce developers when needed
    • Shares best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of customer support and contributes to the knowledge base

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree preferred in the following field: Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce.com development encompassing the Software Development Lifescyle (SDLC)
    • Strong written and interpersonal skills are very important
    • Ability to introduce new Salesforce elements, processes, procedures
    • Solid understanding of sales and marketing analytics, including reporting on territory and pipeline health, forecasting, campaign effectiveness, and data quality metrics in a multi-channel environment
    • Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (both Sales and Service Cloud) technical requirements, system configuration, user requirements and all related policies and procedures
    • Experience with custom reporting, modifying pages, views and dashboards
    • Experience working with and supporting Enterprise Software Sales and Presales Teams
