    The Inside Sales Representative is a highly visible position reporting to the Director of Inside Sales and responsible for selling SkyBitz solutions and services to existing customers as well as new prospects. This role will require someone with superior communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Actively target and identify key senior-level decision makers for the procurement of SkyBitz solutions and services
    • Qualify each prospect to determine appropriate fit for services and close as many opportunities as possible via phone calls or WebEx sessions within the assigned accounts territory.
    • Initiate contact with identified prospects by “cold calling” and emailing to determine their potential interest in SkyBitz solutions and services
    • Meet individual quota on an ongoing basis as assigned by the VP of Sales
    • Qualify & close leads generated by marketing programs
    • Develop detailed knowledge of SkyBitz solutions, actively track, update and manage information in Salesforce.com
    • Provide ongoing market intelligence to the sales management team based on feedback received from customers and prospects
    • Maintain updated information for individually assigned accounts in SFDC. Responsibilities include but not limited to contacts, opportunities, account information, logged activities, tasks, events, and updated customer information
    • Provide assistance to sales team members with proposals, order forms, billing inquiries, shipping assistance, escalated issues to upper management, calls to prospects, contact with customers, etc. as directed by the Director of Inside Sales

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
    • Minimum of High School Diploma and/or equivalent job experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant functional (full cycle sales, Inside/Retail Sales) experience in a fast-paced technology environment
    • Ability to communicate extremely well both orally and in writing to deliver key value propositions to customers and secure sales
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and IE) & CRM applications is required
    • Experience working with SalesForce.Com is a plus
    • Background in the telematics and M2M industries are a plus
