    We are looking for a strategic Sales Engineer to join our SkyBitz Tank Monitoring team! 


    The position is responsible for the development and growth of both revenue and client base through strategic account solution development and outside sales support activities. This includes working closely with both the external national sales directors and internally with our product development, engineering, customer support and delivery teams to support the solution development and sales process. Must develop a blueprint process that aligns customer requirements with current and future offerings that deliver profitable and lasting customer relationships.  


    • Demonstrate an understanding of customer needs in terms of tank contents and chemical compatibility including MSDS to support initial set up and on-going service
    • Drive sales revenue, expand customer base and expand SkyBitz portfolio of products and industry solutions
    • Work with product and sales teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver solutions with the end-goal of sales in mind
    • Perform site surveys at customer locations to determine requirements and solution recommendations
    • Create demonstrations and sales presentations showcasing all technical aspects of solutions for customers and prospects
    • Create and customize demonstrations for onsite customer visits, trade shows, and special events
    • Troubleshoot technical related questions as needed
    • Partner with Tank team members and customers during the sales process
    • Coordinate and conduct ongoing customer training
    • Perform ongoing research on industry trends
    • Provide clear and accurate responses for RFPs and/or contribute technical solutions directly to proposals
    • Work in tandem with the sales and marketing team on presentations to ensure accuracy


    • 3+ years engineering, sales engineering, technical sales in a consultative or process driven sales environment
    • Working knowledge of IoT, M2M, telecom or telematics market preferred
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
    • Experience communicating complex solutions to a broad range of audiences
    • Experience conducting sales presentations and webinars
    • A passion for sales and technology
    • Must be results driven, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a wide range of software programs that support our business (Excel, SalesForce, PowerPoint/CAD, CSS, etc.)
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Work location is negotiable 
    • Must be able and willing to travel- 75%
