    We're looking for a Senior Product Design & Quality Engineer to join our Telular Engineering team.  In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of product development, design and quality testing to ensure and improve quality and reliability of Telular's products throughout all phases of the product life cycle.  


    • Performs root cause analysis of field issues and coordinates corrective actions.
    • Works with suppliers and customers on quality related issues and RMA analyses.
    • Develops testing and pilot requirements for introduction of new products or changes to existing products.
    • Works with manufacturing and production departments to develop Process FMEAs to identify process risks.
    • Contributes to a culture of quality within the company.
    • Supports error proofing and DFM in the design stage through design & manufacturability reviews with design engineers.
    • Works with engineering to develop Design FMEAs to identify design risks and their potential impacts.
    • Closely monitor engineering department’s operations, including mechanical engineering, test and measurement, and production engineering.
    • Demonstrate ability to resolve product, system, and procedural issues.


    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
    • 10+ years related experience in the design of products for harsh environments.
    • Strong knowledge of statistical methods.
    • Strong understanding of tolerance analysis and fault isolation techniques.
    • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally is required.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams.

    Candidates with the following desireable qualifications are preferred:

    • Six Sigma; Agile Product Development 
    • ASQ Certification 
    • ATEX Certification
