For over 30 years, Telular has been providing connectivity solutions that allow people and machines to work together.  We are looking to hire a Billing/Customer Service Supervisor for our SkyBitz division located in Herndon, VA.


We are looking to hire a Billing Operations Manager for our SkyBitz division located in Herndon, VA. SkyBitz is the leading remote asset tracking and information management service provider, specializing in real‐time decision-making tools for companies with unpowered assets.


The Billing Operations Manager reports to the VP of Customer Experience plays a key role in producing and providing accurate, efficient billing and customer care services to our Customer base. The BOM is responsible for the gathering and analysing of customer data, inclusive of physical assets and associated services; the generation/processing of associated Customer invoices, and the support and resolution of any identified billing errors. 


The candidate needs to possess strong knowledge of all aspects data analytics and the billing process. Knowledge of Great Plains and Salesforce is preferred.


  • Compile and validate all customer billable products and services.
  • Research and resolve transaction or billing exceptions daily.  This could involve reviewing data, analyzing information, diagnosing the solution and performing all system corrections.
  • Enter, validate, and maintain customer information and billing determinants as required in SFDC and Great Plains.
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute billing, or transactions reports as required
  • Establish and monitor customer credit limits within the policy.
  • Perform periodic credit reviews.
  • Interact with customers for general billing, accounts receivable, payment and collection inquiries and responding to their business needs and/or problems
  • Research and resolve identified discrepancies
  • Approve the release of sales orders (within the parameters of the credit policy).
  • Coordinate all re-invoices.
  • Respond to billing, transaction questions internally and/or externally.  This may require research of Customer contracts, physical product specific information, and/or interaction with other organizations such as Sales.
  • Responsible for issuing RMA and manage the RMA process for customers.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5 + years of professional experience.
  • Experience in people management
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Great Plains
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (excel, word, outlook).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines, and able to handle multiple demands efficiently.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within billing and customer care processes.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
